CA-1 (Carpenter Assist-1). Pasadena City College, California. 2005
The CA-1 (Carpenter Assist-1) is a transforming electric powered utility vehicle that was completed during a 3-day workshop at Pasadena City College in Pasadena, California by the municipalWORKSHOP, an outrider to the M12 Collective.The collective worked with four classes at the College of Visual Arts and Media Studies at PCC and focused the workshop on mobile public art and social utility. The municipalWORKSHOP lead a student/faculty tour of the Facilities Services Department on campus and then worked side by side with students and employees at PCC to complete the CA-1. Since 2005, The Carpenter Division of the Pasadena City College Facilities Services Department has used the CA-1 on a daily basis.
